About Scratch Services

Scratch Services was built the honest way, from the ground up, and it is still being built.

We are a local, relationship-first business supporting individuals and small business owners with the back-end operations that keep things organized and moving. Administrative support, document processing, compliance assistance, and tax filing during the season, we handle the details so our clients can focus on what they do best.

We care about clean work, clear communication, and processes that make sense. When you work with Scratch, you’re working with people who value responsibility, follow-through, and doing things right the first time.

Why We Exist

Scratch Services is a local business started from scratch to one day support all special needs parents in making extra scratch using customers’ chicken scratch.

It’s a playful line, but the vision behind it is serious.

A portion of all funds will always be donated to special needs service providers and advocacy efforts in educational, medical, and therapeutic spaces. Right now, that portion is significant. As Scratch grows and begins bringing on Scratch workers, more revenue will go toward paying parents working within the business. Even then, a portion will always remain committed to supporting the special needs and advocacy world.

The aim is long-term impact, contributing to safer systems and stronger support for the generations coming behind us.

The Founder’s Background

Before stepping into advocacy, the founder’s specialty was people operations for nearly a decade. Strategic systems, team development, workflow design, and organizational structure were the focus.

Today, the work looks different. It is more hands-on and day-to-day. Less corporate strategy, more practical execution. Scratch was born out of both worlds, operational experience and lived advocacy.

This business is not a finished product. It is being built in real time, intentionally and responsibly.

The Vision

The long-term direction is clear:

  • Grow a profitable operations company that serves small businesses well

  • Create flexible, skill-based administrative roles for special needs parents

  • Offer work that respects unpredictable schedules and caregiving realities

  • Maintain an ongoing financial commitment to special needs service providers and advocacy initiatives

Parents raising children with disabilities develop high-level, transferable skills, documentation management, negotiation, scheduling, compliance tracking, and calm decision-making under pressure. Scratch is designed to recognize those competencies and translate them into paid opportunity.

The Bigger Picture

Customers bring their paperwork, filings, forms, and operational tasks.

We turn that “chicken scratch” into income.

That income creates flexible work.
A portion supports service providers and advocacy efforts.
Those efforts strengthen families.
Stronger families build stronger communities.

Scratch Services is growing, learning, refining, and building as it goes, with purpose at the center.
